Art…like life…

(As seen in the Westport Lifestyle Magazine)

Art, like life, is often at its best when it seeks to honor the history of what has been while stretching for the possibility of what could be. It is the connectedness between those who teach us, support us, and create beauty and meaning from what begins as a blank canvas.

When Linda Colletta and I sat down to talk about her art and the journey she had been on to be where she is today, I was so struck by the symmetry of how our lives (just like art) are so rooted in our history, but it’s when we stretch for more, take risks, build on what has been we find we are at the edge of something so beautiful.

There is so much to learn from each other - we just have to take the time to listen. I’m so grateful that I got to do this with Linda for this article. You can read the full article HERE….Art Rooted in History. Success Fueled by Risk.
